Dog and Cat Management Plan 2017-2022

The City of Mitcham is reviewing its current Dog and Cat Management Plan 2012-17 and developing its future five year Dog and Cat Management Plan 2017 -2022 to encourage responsible pet ownership of both cats and dogs throughout the City of Mitcham. 

Council is seeking your opinion on animal management in the City which will inform Council and assist their decision making to produce a program of action to be undertaken over the next five years. To assist in this process Council has prepared a Discussion Paper and Questionnaire and is seeking your feedback by 5pm Monday 29 May 2017

Your responses will ensure Council understands and meets the need of the community in responsible animal management as well as ensuring the safety of our community. 

How can you provide feedback?

  • Complete the online feedback form available below.
  • Complete a hard copy of the survey form available from the Civic Centre, Mitcham Library and Blackwood Library or download here
  • Return completed hard copies to City of Mitcham, PO Box 21, Mitcham Shopping Centre, Torrens Park SA 5062; or email to mitcham@mitchamcouncil.sa.gov.au 

The Council will consider all submissions received by the due date. Please indicate if you would like your name and address kept confidential however these details may potentially be accessible under the Freedom of Information Act 1991.
