Immunisation

Immunisation is a simple, safe and effective way to protect you and your children against infectious diseases that may cause serious illness, permanent damage or even death.

The City of Mitcham provides a free immunisation service as a readily available method of keeping you and your family safe, and preventing the spread of infectious diseases. However, we can only make the service available to the community, it is up to you to ensure that you are fully immunised.

The City of Mitcham Immunisation Service provides a service to:

  1. Medicare card holders (babies, toddlers, preschoolers).
  2. Year 8 and Year 9 high school students for school catchup vaccines.
  3. Adults who attend the Council office and prepay for the 'fee vaccines'.

Current Children's Immunisation Schedule
