We need you - Mitcham Council residents who are interested in sculpting, woodwork, design and art….you don’t need to be an expert!

Acting on a generous offer from local resident and sculptor, Marc Spurgin, to share his skills and passions with older members from the Mitcham community, ECH and the City of Mitcham are collaborating to support the design and development of a statement piece of art by interested council residents. Led by Marc Spurgin and Mitcham Community Shed Coordinator, Norman George, you are invited to share you ideas on Wednesday, 23 January 2019, 10am-12pm, at the Mitcham Community Shed, 103 Princes Road, Mitcham. A delicious morning tea will be provided.

The vision is to use recycled materials such as wood and metal. The project will run through May and June, and will be launched at the 2019 Zest Fest in October.

To register your interest in being part of this exciting project, please contact Norman on or drop into the Community Shed on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday before 12pm.
