To Tell Another's Story Art Exhibition February 2019 PortraitThe City of Mitcham Foyer Gallery has a new exhibition “To Tell Another’s Story” showcasing artworks from the Australian Refugee Association. ARA invites artists of all ages and experiences to develop new work  that portray the images and stories of people from refugee backgrounds. Highlighting the challenges and successes of their incredible journeys. Touching upon themes of multiculturalism, human rights, cultural diversity and anti-racism, the ARA Portrait Exhibition is an honest and emotive example of how artwork has the ability to disarm our fears of the unknown whilst helping us confront some of the major issues and prejudices we find ourselves dealing with.

The exhibition is at the City of Mitcham, 131 Belair Road, Torrens Park until 13 May 2019. View times are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Closed public holidays.
