The original village of Mitcham, Brownhill Creek and the adjacent suburbs of Torrens Park, Hawthorn and Kingswood have many large and well-known Historical features as well as many that are not so well-known.

Join us on walks designed to show some of these historical features, learn about Mitcham’s local history, and raise money for research into Lung Cancer and other lung diseases.

 2. Brownhill Creek Heritage Trail

 3. Mitcham Walk

 4. Hawthorn Walk

 5. Kingswood Walk

Village of Mitcham Heritage Walk

Being essentially a walk through part of the Village of Mitcham, there are a number of historical buildings to be seen, as well as bridges, a fords, the site of a former hotel,  some gates, stables and other historical items. 

Please meet at 1pm at the rose garden next to the Mitcham Reserve. Bring water and your camera.
