Waste Collection

As with many other organisations and businesses, we are experiencing the impacts of staff and resource shortages.

Our waste collection service is currently operating as normal. We know that waste collection services are critical, so we have put in place actions to minimise delays as much as possible including: social distancing, staggered start times, truck disinfection and a number of other practices. However, despite this, we are starting to experience impacts on our workforce as a result of COVID.

What this means for residents:

  • You may experience delays in collection for your waste (blue), organics (green) and recycling (yellow) collection.

If your bins have not been collected please leave your bins out and we will collect them as soon as we can.

We very much appreciate your patience and support as we all navigate this challenging time.

To assist our team during this period, please only contact us about your bin collection if you have experienced a delay of more than 24 hours by clicking here
