Meet the Audit and Risk Committee
The Audit and Risk Committee is established under Sections 41 and 126 of the Local Government Act 1999 to make comments, suggestions and recommendations to us about finance, risk and audit.
When they meet
The Audit and Risk Committee meets quarterly, plus one additional meeting scheduled to go over our annual financial statements. The Committee may also meet when the Council or members request it and it's supported by our Chief Executive Officer
The members
One Council Member and four independents sit on our Audit and Risk Committee. The current members are:
