Have your say on Blackwood Community Hub and Waite Street Reserve

City of Mitcham residents are invited to have their say on the next stage of plans for the Blackwood Community Hub and Waite Street Reserve.

These drawings are variations on the Stage 1 plans presented during the first stage consultation that took place in 2018, taking in to account the community feedback received at that time. They incorporate both the Community Hub building and the Waite Street Reserve, noting adjacent car parking and pedestrian access.

You are invited to participate in an online survey, available on Council’s website Council’s website from 11 June to 8 July (for a period of 28 days), with an additional opportunity for a question and answer session for the community to be offered online in a virtual format during June.

The Blackwood Hub will bring together the Blackwood Library and Blackwood Community Centre on the site of the existing Community Centre at 4 Young Street.
