60 new Australian citizens were welcomed during a citizenship ceremony officiated by Mayor Dr Heather Holmes-Ross. The Australia Day Citizen of the Year Award was jointly presented to Mr David Ennis and Elisabeth and Geoffrey Bartlett for their outstanding contributions to our community. The Australia Community Event of the Year was awarded to Mitcham City Brass for their community event, The Mitcham Band Festival.
