You can be creative in the way we care for our environment and consider future generations. For ideas on how you can switch to a more sustainable house, garden and lifestyle please visit the Urban sustainability website hosted by the Natural Resources Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges.
Native bees in your backyard
Native bees are important as they are excellent pollinators of fruit trees and vegetables and are a great asset in the home garden. They also pollinate many native plants - in fact some of our native plants can only be pollinated by native bees.
Anyone can support native bees by planting native food plants and providing nesting sites for them.
If you would like to attract native bees visit the Natural Resources Adelaide and Mt Lofty Ranges website here.
