Our emergency management plan
We reduce threats by taking part in local emergency management in the southern Adelaide zone, with our neighbouring councils City of Onkaparinga, City of Marion and City of Holdfast Bay.

What to do in an emergency
The SES Emergency Kit Checklist is a helpful tool to set aside essentials (plus a list of items to add) when you have to leave your home in an emergency.

The South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) provides structural firefighting services to our state. Call Triple Zero 000.
The South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS) volunteers deliver professional fire and rescue services to outer metropolitan, regional and rural SA.

You can call the SES on 132 500 if you need help during a flood, storm or for emergencies like:
