The Karinya Reserve Community Hall Mural is a vibrant, large-scale artwork that wraps around three sides of the community hall at Eden Hills. Created by acclaimed street artist Tarns, the mural celebrates local culture, native bushland and the energy of active recreation.
Each wall tells a different story  from BMX and skate scenes, to community organisations and local flora creating a visual journey that reflects the spirit of Eden Hills and the people who bring it to life.

North wall – facing the skate park
This side of the mural pulses with energy, featuring BMX riders, skaters and bold graffiti-inspired design. It reflects the movement, creativity and street culture of the local skate community.

West wall – facing Sturt Lions Football Club
The west-facing wall highlights community and connection, with references to the local Scouts and Rotary groups, the iconic hills train line and local sporting soccer club.

South wall – facing Blackwood Hill Reserve
A tribute to the surrounding environment, this mural panel showcases Grey Box gums, native wildflowers and the natural bushland that defines the nearby Blackwood Hill Reserve. Elements were shaped in collaboration with Bush for Life volunteers to reflect the true nature of the reserve.
