Works will include removal of the existing road surface, laying new bitumen seal, service cover adjustments and line marking reinstatement.

Expect temporary traffic management, reduced speed limits, short delays and some noise during works. On-street parking will not be permitted within the work zone. Property access will be maintained wherever practicable.

We appreciate your patience while these essential road maintenance works are carried out.

Opening hours

Most public toilets are generally open from 7:30am to 7:30pm daily.

Some locations may be open later. Toilets are locked progressively each evening, so closing times can vary slightly.

At times, facilities may also be temporarily closed due to vandalism or maintenance. We can’t guarantee all toilets will be open at all times.

Accessible toilets and MLAK access

City of Mitcham is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive community for everyone who lives, works and visits our area.

We’ve installed Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK) systems on accessible public toilets, our Changing Places facility and other accessible infrastructure.

MLAK provides eligible users with 24-hour access to these facilities.

What is an MLAK key?

The Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK) system allows people with disability to independently access locked accessible facilities across Australia.

MLAK-enabled facilities may include:

  • Accessible public toilets
  • Changing Places facilities
  • Liberty swings and other accessible infrastructure
