Not sure which ward you live in? Find your ward so you know who represents you and how to vote in the 2027 Council elections.
Check your address
Your ward is based on where you live or the property you’re enrolled to vote for.
The easiest way to find your ward is to search your address.
Why your ward matters
City of Mitcham is divided into wards. Each ward is represented by Elected Members who make decisions on behalf of their community.
Knowing your ward helps you:
- understand who represents you
- vote for the correct candidates
- stay informed about local issues and decisions
We did a representation review in 2021 that changed our city’s ward boundaries to reflect the amount of voters for every elected member.

Voting in your ward
When you receive your voting pack, it will include the ballot papers for your ward.
You can only vote:
- once in your ward election
- once for the Mayor
If you’re enrolled for more than one property, you may be eligible to vote in more than one ward.
