Expressions of interest open for Living Lightly Locally
Living Lightly Locally for Regenerative Regions is seeking expressions of interest from people who would like to take part in a unique education and research project exploring sustainable living in everyday life.
The free program combines learning, community participation and research to better understand the changes people want to make in their lives, and the opportunities and barriers they experience when trying to live more sustainably.
Participants will explore topics including wellbeing, waste, energy, water, transport, food, gardens, climate and community through a combination of self-paced learning and shared discussion.
The project is designed to build a better understanding of what helps people create positive change at home and in their local communities, with findings helping to inform future policy and decision-making.
The City of Mitcham is supporting the program as one of four participating council areas across South Australia.
