Have Your Say on the Draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan
The City of Mitcham is seeking community feedback on the Draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2026-2030.
The Plan supports our vision for a welcoming and inclusive community, with actions focused on creating safe, accessible environments and supporting people to be active, healthy and connected.
This consultation builds on community engagement undertaken in late 2025. Rather than starting again, we’re asking the community to review the Draft Plan and let us know whether it reflects what we heard and if there are any important gaps that should be addressed before it is finalised.
We want to hear what helps you feel safe, welcome and included in our community. Your experiences and ideas will help shape actions that support people of all abilities and contribute to a healthier, safer and more inclusive City of Mitcham.
How to have your say
Feedback can be provided by completing the online survey or by accessing a hard copy at the City of Mitcham Civic Centre, Mitcham Memorial Library or Tiwu Kumangka (Blackwood Library and Community Centre).
If you need support to provide feedback, call 1300 133 466 and request to speak with our Positive Ageing and Inclusion Officer, who can assist with transcribing your submission.
You can also contact us to request a hard copy of the survey or discuss any additional support you may need.
Consultation closes at 5pm on Friday 11 September 2026.
