Help shape the future of cycling in Mitcham
The City of Mitcham is inviting the community to provide feedback on the Draft Cycling Plan 2026-2031.
Whether you ride to work, school, the shops, public transport or simply for recreation, your feedback will help shape the future of cycling across Mitcham.
The Draft Cycling Plan builds on the long-term vision outlined in Moving Mitcham and identifies key routes, network gaps and practical actions to improve safety, comfort and connectivity for people of all ages and abilities.
The plan focuses on:
- connecting existing cycling routes
- filling gaps in the network
- improving links to schools, shopping centres and public transport
- making everyday cycling safer and easier for everyone
Cycling routes across Mitcham are currently fragmented in places, making it more difficult for people to travel confidently by bike. The Draft Cycling Plan aims to create a more connected network that supports everyday journeys and encourages more people to choose cycling as a safe and convenient way to get around.
Your feedback will help inform the final plan and future cycling improvements across the City of Mitcham.
