Sunday sessions return to Urrbrae Wetland

Following a successful trial last year, the Friends of Urrbrae Wetland are set to open the Wetland to the public on the first Sunday of each month in 2026.

From Sunday 1 March, the public is invited to visit between 9am and 12pm to wander the boardwalk and explore Grey Box Grassy Woodland.

“There are opportunities to see water birds and sit and listen to the many bushland birds,” Friends of Urrbrae Wetland Secretary Chris Adams says. “You are welcome to join some Friends volunteers for a relaxed chat, a biscuit and a cuppa. It is a peaceful little haven – come in and enjoy it!”

Parking for the Wetland is off Cross Road via marked entry signs.
