Willow Tree Sculpture at Mitcham Reserve

We are honoured to present the Willow Tree sculpture, donated to our community by the Galatis family as a contemplation piece and memorial to Greg and Rosemary Galatis and their two granddaughters Caitlin and Willow who passed away in a car accident. Greg was a much valued employee at our Community Shed and the family was heavily involved in our local community.

The sculpture features copper pipes shaped to resemble a willow tree with messages inscribe on copper leaves. We invite you to visit this beautiful tree sculpture and sit on the bench around the trunk. The sculpture is located in the Mitcham Reserve, in the south western corner, Old Belair Road, Mitcham.
