Welcome to our City and thank you for choosing to make your home here. The City of Mitcham is a welcoming and inclusive community that values its people, heritage and natural environment. You join a growing number of people who are discovering the many benefits and pleasures of living and working in our vibrant and progressive community.

The City of Mitcham has much to offer. We deliver more than 100 services to the community including libraries and community centres, community events, parks, gardens and playgrounds, sports grounds, immunisation clinics, dog and cat management, waste collection and recycling, as well as road, footpath, drainage construction and maintenance, and much more.

The booklet 'Welcome to Mitcham' has been created to welcome you and to give you useful information about the services provided by Council. I also welcome you to drop-in to my open forum, ‘Share with the Mayor’, every Wednesday afternoon from 3pm to 6pm at the City of Mitcham Civic Centre, 131 Belair Road, Torrens Park.

You can follow our social media channels for the latest Council events, activities and services. See the City of Mitcham through our eyes and join the community conversation!

Whether you are a new resident or returning to the Mitcham Council area, congratulations on choosing to make your new home in our City.
