Autumn leaf street sweeping program underway
Toggle dismiss alert

The Autumn leaf street sweeping program is underway and focuses on streets lined with deciduous trees. We aim to blow and sweep leaves on these roads and footpaths on a fortnightly basis for a ten week period, usually between the months of April to June. Delays in sweeping may be experienced due to weather and higher leaf falls.

Join Janette for a demonstration of how to paint a pastel painting. Janette’s artwork will be on display at the Mitcham Memorial Library Gallery space between the 16th of March to the 28th of April. ‘Atelier Australis’ is a significant exhibition celebrating that images of local artist, Janette’s Humble’s, art will be launched onto the moon in November 2024. The launch by NASA for all perpetuity also showcases women’s art in space for the first time. This exhibition showcases the richness of the Australian landscape as Janette would like potential travellers to the moon to comprehend. The City of Mitcham welcomes all to this Free community event.
