What is the Quick Response Grant?
Our Quick Response Grants give groups, individuals and organisations in the City of Mitcham small amounts of funding (under $1,000) in a short timeframe (15 working days).
We’ve got a $30,000 funding pool available to support agile community projects and events, like:
- Neighbour day barbecues
- Community gardens
- Small Christmas gatherings

When do applications open?
You can apply for a Quick Response Grant at any time until the funding pool is completely allocated.
How to apply
Applications are submitted online through Grant Toolbox.
To apply:
- Log in to Grant Toolbox or create an account.
- Find the Quick Response Grant under Funding Opportunities and select Apply.
- Fill in the application form and include all relevant documents with your application.

If you’re awarded funding from our grants program, you can find out what happens next by reading What’s next – Six Steps.
Once you’ve delivered your project, don’t forget to complete your evaluation report. You can’t apply for another grant until we’ve received and approved your report.
