What is the Quick Response Grant?
Our Quick Response Grants give groups, individuals and organisations in the City of Mitcham small amounts of funding (under $500) in a short timeframe (30 working days).
We’ve got a $20,000 funding pool available to support agile community projects and events, like:
- Neighbour day barbecues
- Community gardens
- Small Christmas gatherings

When do applications open?
Applications are now open. You can apply for a Quick Response Grant at any time until the funding pool is completely allocated. Please make sure you include all relevant paperwork with your submission.
How to apply
You can either print an application form, and send it via email or post, or complete an online form.
By email/post:
- Read the Quick Response Grant Guidelines.
- Download and save the application form to your computer. Then fill out the editable Quick Response Grant application form (PDF) and submit it as an attachment in the grants enquiry form here.
Online:
- Read the Quick Response Grant guidelines.
- Complete the Quick Response Grant online application form. You can’t save your progress or share this application with anyone else and you need to submit it after filling it out.
If your grant application is successful
If you’re awarded funding from our grants program and have delivered your project, don’t forget to complete your evaluation report. You can’t apply for another grant until we’ve received and approved it.
